Preview: Tigers look for third consecutive win from Sharks visit

Chris Rodger expressed his excitement about the season so far as the 2019 AFL Scotland term hits the mid-point. The Tigers welcome the Glasgow Sharks to the GSA for a 2pm bounce today (June 8th)

The Tigers are looking to put together a bit of a winning streak after picking up wins in the last two games, a narrow defeat to the Glasgow Giants the only blot on the copybook so far.

"Our performance last week was well below par but to still get a win after a below-par performance was positive," said Rodger, as his side managed to take the win in a high-scoring game at Kingdom Kangaroos.

"So far I've been really happy with our performances, with a few wins under our belt our momentum is building," Rodger added, who is excited to see how the season will play out as it hits the mid-point.

"We are in uncharted waters as a club and its really exciting.

"Numbers at training has been fantastic and for the first time in Tiger history, we had 18/19 blokes vying to make the 15 man squad for tomorrows game.

"I've had a good feeling about this season since preseason but feeling it and doing it are completely different. So far we have worked hard and have had some very positive results.

"The fight continues and will continue right to the very end of the season."
