The 2019 AFL Scotland season is drawing ever closer, and once again the Haggis Cup will act as the curtain raiser.


2019 will mark the club’s seventh season of competing in the pre-season tournament, with the club looking to better their run to the 2016 semi-final as they turn out at Peffermill Playing Fields in Edinburgh this weekend.


The group/knockout format tournament guarantees teams three games each. The Tigers AFL Scotland counterparts Edinburgh Bloods and Glasgow Sharks will compete along with AFL England side Manchester Mosquitoes. The winner of the group stage automatically progresses to the final, as 2nd & 3rd play-off to join the table toppers in the showpiece.


The schedule is as follows;


10:50am Vs. Manchester Mosquitoes (GS, 20mins per half)

11:30am Vs. Glasgow Sharks (GS, 20mins per half)

2:00pm Vs. Edinburgh Bloods (GS, 20mins per half)


3:00pm 2nd Vs. 3rd (SF, 15mins per half)

3:45pm Final (15mins per half)
