The Tyne Tees Tigers are the North East's only Australian Rules Football Club and are based at the grounds of the Gosforth Sports Association, which is located on Broadway West, NE3 2NH, in Gosforth. 

 

We compete in the AFL Scotland Australian Rules Football League. This means that we train and play our 'home' games at our base in Gosforth, whereas our 'away' games are played against clubs based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and nearby areas. 

 

Our training takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm.

 

Training starts in late January of any given year and generally continues through until the conclusion of our season in about September of each year (although it sometimes continues beyond this if we are competing in invitational events such as 'The Movember Cup' held in Manchester each November).

Our competitive matches commence in mid April of any given year and continue through until the conclusion of our season in about mid August.
